Erie, Pennsylvania – A Pennsylvania animal shelter is seeking information about an apparent case of animal cruelty in Erie. According to the ANNA Shelter, the Erie Police were informed about the presence of a deceased dog who was left in a dumpster last night.
The dog, Prince, is a miniature Australian Shepherd who was born in 2024.
In a public Facebook post, the shelter described how Prince was killed, writing:
He was freshly deceased and died from a close-range gunshot to the head. Someone knows this dog. Someone shot him in the head yesterday. Someone dumped his lifeless body in the dumpster last night.
Shelter staff is determined to find the person responsible. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the ANNA Shelter at 814-572-5913 or EPD at 814-870-1125.
Note: It is unclear exactly how the dog’s name and date of birth is known; presumably from a microchip.

If they got the information of his age, when he was born, etc. from a microchip then they sure as hell can track down the owner!! Use a gun on the POS SOB that did this to such a young innocent soul. May they burn in hell!!!

I have a terrible feeling Prince wasn’t killed by his owner. His owner took the time to have his or her precious pup microchipped. My guess it’s some vindictive p.o.s. who has a beef with the owner, or may be an ex-partner, a neighbor, etc.
Whoever it was, they’re a sick person and deserve some street justice.
I find their addresses and write evil deranged letters to them hoping they die the same way! Google their addresses and send them anonymously!
