Chambers County, Texas – Police in Chambers County are seeking information about an animal cruelty case that involves a Labrador retriever named Ace. According to the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, someone fatally shot the six-year-old dog on Monday, January 26, 2026, around 5:00 p.m.
Deputies were called to a home in the 1500 block of Cotton Lane Road in the Plantation neighborhood of Baytown where they found the dog, Ace, deceased in the backyard from a gunshot wound. The authorities said, “The shooting is believed to have occurred around 5:00 PM, and a nearby resident reported hearing a gunshot around that time.”

Justice must be served for this beautiful yellow lab. He was probably a loving, faithful companion find this deranged monster no matter what it takes. Bring him to justice. No slap on the wrist maximum prosecution. Bring back the death penalty.
The individual who committed this cruelty needs to be found and locked up for a very long time. People who commit these crimes against animals are not worthy of living among the rest of society. Unfortunately our laws against animals are a joke and these individuals more often than not just walk away with a slap on the wrist; set free to go out and do it again.

You need to read other articles at the Animal Victory site. What about the man in Fulton County, Georgia that sexually assaulted 2 dogs then killed them? What about the woman in Pierce County, Washington that left 68 neglected cats in a 15 ft moving truck with no food or water? An on and on. It is not just Texas, unfortunately, it is everywhere.
