Las Vegas, Nevada – A handsome German shepherd named Sarge remains hopeful that someone might choose him to take home, despite the fact that everyone seems to overlook him. The six-year-old dog has been at the Nevada SPCA for months, and though he is affectionate and gorgeous, nobody has decided to give him a home.

In a social media post, the shelter says:
Sarge waits at the front of his kennel every day, hoping someone will finally stop to meet him…but sadly, he keeps getting overlooked. 😔
This gentle 7-year-old (67 lbs) is dreaming of a peaceful, loving home. He would thrive in a mellow household (no cats) where he can curl up in a cozy bed for naps and join you on leisurely walks to the park.
Independent yet affectionate, Sarge enjoys your company and longs for the chance to be someone’s cherished companion. Please give handsome Sarge a chance and meet him at Nevada SPCA. ❤️🐾
Sarge is a typical German shepherd. Handsome, intelligent, independent, and faithful – he just needs a person to give him a chance. Please take a moment to share this gorgeous dog’s adoption information. Shepherds do not do well in shelters, and the stress is undoubtedly taking a toll on Sarge.
