Gorgeous Young Shepherd Overlooked For Nearly A Month At Shelter

Downey, CA – A gorgeous, young German shepherd named King is patiently waiting for someone to notice him at a crowded California animal shelter. It is hard to imagine that a handsome, two-year-old German shepherd could wait for nearly a month to be adopted, but there are so many homeless dogs waiting for homes that even purebred, young, healthy dogs find themselves at risk of being put down.

Nearly two weeks ago, a shelter advocate wrote these words about King:
