Every Adoption Fee At Kansas City Shelter Covered By Super Bowl Winning NFL Player

Kansas City, MO – When the Kansas City Chiefs secured the Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles on February 12, adoptable dogs at the KC Pet Project won as well. Thanks to KC defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi, and Ziwi Pets, all adoptable dog adoption fees are sponsored!

After the big win, KC Pet Project made the adoption special announcement:

We are so excited to announce that KC defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi, and Ziwi Pets are choosing to celebrate the win by paying for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs currently at KC Pet Project!

We have had an amazing, season-long, partnership with Derrick Nnadi and ZIWI with so many dogs finding their homes, and now all 264 dogs that are available for adoption are sponsored by them until they are adopted.

As a special added bonus, dogs who are adopted will be gifted swag bags, complements of ZIWI Pets.

  1. God bless you for covering the cost of adoption for these pets as I’m sure some of them would not have been adopted because of the cost of adoption by some of the people adopting them. That’s a great way to celebrate your winning the Superbowl. THANKYOU!

  2. I do not like “free pets”. This has always been a bad idea. Why are “shelters” and “rescues” still doing this? Follow those animals in a year or worse, a week.
