Charlotte County, FL – Last Thursday, horrified witnesses observed a truck dragging a dog for approximately a half mile in the vicinity of Lakeworth Blvd and Durant St.
Jaime Boyle, one of the witnesses, tells WINK News that the brown dog looked like it died by the time the man finally stopped his truck.
“My buddy goes, ‘Oh, my God, he’s dragging a dog.’ So I look back. So we stopped, put it in reverse. Got him to stop, and then he bends down and picks the dog. The dog had already passed away,” Boyle said. “And that’s gonna be in my brain for the rest of my life, watching that.”
Officials reached out to the public in an attempt to identify and locate the driver of the truck, who sped off with the dog’s body after being confronted. On Sunday, city officials stated that the man had been found.
The driver’s name has not been released and there is no current information about possible charges.

there is not enough pain that can be inflicted on a slimebag who does something like this.
Make the punishment fit the crime, do the same to the driver.
I say the very same thing about all abuse cases i read about, the Chinese torturing dogs, cats in 2 weeks for their so called festival, not so much for the animals, the Italians hanging the older Greyhounds from bridges lighting poles, the longer it takes to die the longer the new one will be able to race, the Polish who electrocute the Siler Fox’s via the rectums, on and on but yes dragging him till he bleeds would probably be a start right? yep.

We may hv been over run with people who feel differently than WE Americans do about animals but WE will not put up with Anyone doing this….Do not let this county hid who this is? Poor dog..
