Dreamy, Young Shepherd Sits On Death Row With Looming Monday Deadline

Update 5/20/2024: Adoption pending!

Dallas, TX – A dreamy German shepherd, young (2 years), and handsome, is sitting on death row at a Texas animal shelter where Monday looms as his deadly “due out” day.

The shepherd, named Kiko, is at the Dallas Animal Services facility in kennel 921A. Despite his obvious good looks, and his desirable age, he has had no interest and time has nearly run out to save his life.

On Thursday, the Urgent Pets of Dallas Animal Services Facebook page outlined the danger Kiko is in, writing:

DEADLINE MONDAY, 5/20 at 11 AM‼️
ADOPT/RESCUE – PRE-LAB – SPACE
Kiko (A1213960)

56.00 pounds
Heartworm Negative

SHELTER OBSERVATION

Kiko is a good boy who is in a bad situation. He deserves his life – but nothing is in his control right now. Please take action and share his adoption information before he is gone forever.

  1. Why is there always a deadline at American shelters??? EVERY DOG DESERVES A HAPPY LIFE!!! Killing dogs makes these shelters just as evil as the disgusting people who dump their pets!

  2. SHARE — ADOPT — FOSTER — NEVER KILL Healthy & Treatable Animals — someone loving is out there — HOLD ONTO Sweet Kiko.

  3. Very intelligent eyes 🐶💙💚💜
GREAT RESPECT FOR YOUR HARD WORK FOR POOR ABUSED ANIMALS FROM FARAWAY FINLAND 🇫🇮

  4. There’s always an extreme abundance of dogs needing homes…thanks mostly to puppy breeders. Whoever came up with the idea to just execute the “surplus” instead of addressing the root of the problem must be in hell, and dog breeders may well be residing with him (or them) someday. Kiko deserves a loving home, not to be killed and thrown away like trash.
