Miami, FL – For more than a year, a dog named has languished at a Miami animal shelter. Sadly, the young dog has now spent nearly half of his life at the Miami-Dade Animal Services facility, and his supporters fear that he may die here if help does not come soon.
In late June, an advocate shared fear that Tyson would soon be euthanized at the facility, writing:
MIAMI – OVER 1 YEAR AT THE SHELTER 😭😭THE SHELTER IS FULL! WILL BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT WARNING!! DON’T LET HIM DIE!
According to a July Instagram post by Adopt Miami Pets, Tyson is the LONGEST resident at the shelter, and though he can be somewhat shy, he is a “bundle of love” once he gets to know you.

Those who know Tyson have shared insight to what he loves the most:
Absolutely loves to play with water and go for long walks. Will patiently sit by the water hose to let you know it’s time to play, and enjoys hanging out with his favorite people.
Patience and kindness are the keys to unlocking this boy’s heart.
You can help Tyson find a home by sharing his adoption information. Please don’t let his story end here – he deserves so much more.
