Downey, CA – A plea for help has been issued for an overlooked German shepherd who is out of time at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Downey facility. His name is Edmund, and the five-year-old German shepherd has the good looks that make breed fans swoon.

I’m head over heals in love witht Edmund. He checks all the boxes, a #gsdlover dream dog.
He’s handsome, okay for large calm dogs.
He sits for treats, listens and will make a wonderful loyal companion.
My gsd friends He is a catch.
But being gorgeous, loyal, and intelligent are not enough to keep Edmund safe. He has been overlooked and he is out of time. Tragically, he could be euthanized at any time because of space constraint issues at the busy shelter.
