Dog Rescued From Abandoned House Finally Adopted After Nearly 600 Days

Euclid, Ohio – A real home has been a long time coming for a formerly neglected dog named Chester…it took nearly 600 days for the long-time shelter resident to be adopted. But today the handsome pooch is happy, healthy, and loved – as he should be.

Chester was rescued from an abandoned home and taken under the wing of the Euclid Animal shelter where he patiently waited for his happily-ever-after. Back in August 2022, photographer Greg Murray did his part to help the homeless pup find a new guardian.

And this month, the much-awaited adoption day finally arrived. As reported by USA Today, on Chester’s big day…he left the animal shelter in style, comfortably seated inside of a posh limousine destined for his new home.

On March 18, Euclid Pet Pals let Chester’s fans know that he was FINALLY home, thanking his supporters for their love and support.

Chester has come a long way from the day he was saved from the filthy, abandoned house where he was struggling to survive. Gone are the days of hunger and pain – only love and happiness ahead.

Enjoy your new life Chester!!
