Dog Missing After Doggy Daycare Fire Found In Critical Condition After Falling From On-Ramp

Seattle, WA – One of the dogs missing after a fire broke out at The Dog Resort in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood has been found. Allison Scarborough’s dog, Remi, has been on the run since Monday night’s fire; her other dog, Georgie was found deceased on Interstate 5 not long after escaping the daycare facility.

Remi was found Thursday; she is in critical condition after falling 50 feet from an on-ramp near Lumen Field. Scarborough let members of the Lost and Found Pets of King County Facebook group know that her dog was found:

11/16: Remi has been found by Seattle animal control and is in critical condition. She is receiving emergency care. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and focus search efforts on finding North.

As reported by Kiro News, the Dog Resort owners have stated that they will be covering Remi’s veterinary costs.

Search efforts remain underway for North, a German shepherd/Border collie mix.

  1. I would never leave my dogs at some doggie day care. These are for profit and nobody cares about the animals, king of like how veterinarians overcharge everyone and pet insurance is a terrible scam.
