Dog Heartbroken And Confused After Her Mom Was Adopted And She Was Left Behind At Shelter

Miami, FL -A four-year-old dog named Canela is lost and confused after her mother was adopted out from a Miami animal shelter and she was left behind. Worst of all, the shelter is full and her life is in danger.

On Friday, the Rescue Me Miami Animal Shelter Facebook page wrote a plea on Canela’s behalf:

BONDED PAIR HAS BEEN SEPARATED! CANELA IS NOT WANTED BY ANYONE! CANELA IS NOW SHUTTING DOWN IN THE BACK WHERE SHE CAN’T BE SEEN. I GUESS THEY WANT TO HIDE WHAT HAS BEEN DONE. ALMOST 1 YEAR AT THE SHELTER COULD BE EUTHANIZED ANYTIME! THE SHELTER IS FULL!

After waiting for 11 months her mom Blackie was finally adopted but Canela is now heartbroken. Not only she misses her mom but she also lost the display she shared with Blackie💔Now she’s very sad and confused.

According to Canela’s biography, she loves long walks, playtime, and butt scratches. She seems to be overly interested in cats and squirrels, so small animals in her new home might be a problem. Please help Canela find a new home by sharing her adoption information. Networking saves lives!!
