Dog Found 9 Days After Vanishing While On Walk With Owner Who Is Still Missing

Houston, TX – On the morning of March 6, Christina Johnson disappeared while walking her dog, Max. Fast forward to March 15 – Max has been found, but his owner is still missing.

Four days ago, the Texas EquuSearch Facebook page wrote about the discovery of Max:

UPDATE (3/15/24): Christina’s dog, Max, has been found approximately 7.5 miles northeast of her residence! Please continue to be on the lookout for Christina. If you are near the Westchase, Briargrove, or Memorial areas, please keep an eye out for her. Thank you to our volunteers and community partners that helped located Max! Let’s do the same for Christina.

Christina’s father, Emmanuel, says that her disappearance is concerning because she would never abandon her dog. He tells KHOU News:

“She always has Max with her. The fact we find Max but not her is very alarming.”

Adding:

“Something ain’t right. Obviously, she’s in danger.”

27-year-old Christina Johnson was last seen on March 6, 2024, leaving her residence near the 12500 block of Newbrook Dr., in Houston, Texas. Christina left to take her dog for a walk and neither have been seen since. Christina was wearing a black hoodie, blue jean shorts, pink socks, Crocs (color unknown) and carrying a gray backpack.
