Clay County, Arkansas – Badly neglected beagles are now receiving care, and a Missouri man is facing 20 animal cruelty charges, following the discovery of a disturbing situation in Clay County, Arkansas. According to KAIT News, police arrested 58-year-old David Doyle Crowe of Parma, Missouri, after finding nearly two dozen neglected and deceased dogs at a home on County Road 441, between McDougal and Boydsville.
MyZouy Rescue took in the surviving dogs, announcing the troubling situation to social media followers last week:
We have taken over 19 beagles as of today. These photos don’t even show how horrible the living conditions are for these dogs. A man dumped 21 dogs off at a property in tiny cages with multiple dogs in each cage and left them with no food or water. We have been asked to step in and help. The man who did this has been arrested and agreed to surrender what is left of the dogs to us.
According to the local authorities, this is not the first time Crowe has faced animal cruelty charges – back in 2023 he was arrested twice in Missouri.
