Devore, California – A beautiful young dog, still just a pup at just over a year of age, has no idea that her life will likely end soon. The Labrador retriever mix, Luna, has been held at the Devore Animal Shelter since January 30 and the shelter has slated her for euthanasia tomorrow – February 10.
Luna was picked up as a stray before being taken in at the shelter facility, but she doesn’t appear to be a street dog. Her coat is clean – she is not emaciated and she is wearing a collar. More than likely, she was dumped by someone who did not want to care for her anymore.
Valentine’s day is just a breath away. Sad enough that Luna would not spend it with people who love her…sadder yet that she may not be alive on this holiday of love. Luna has been designated as “rescue only” for reasons unknown. She is young and should have her entire life ahead of her.
Please share her shelter information and help her find the assistance she needs to survive.
