Jurupa Valley, California – A beautiful German shepherd, and her newborn puppies, are at risk at a California animal shelter. The pregnant dog, Khatra, was taken in at the Riverside County Animal Control facility on January 20 – two days later she delivered her puppies.
Sadly, two of the puppies passed away and there are nine surviving pups. The entire family is at risk and urgently in need of assistance.

This family needs to leave the shelter facility as soon as possible – puppies are at risk of contracting deadly diseases at busy shelter facilities. Please share Khatra’s information to help her, and her babies, find a rescue group to take them in.
Additional shelter notes-
Came in as a stray on Mockingbird Canyon Rd., Riverside on 01/20/25.
Khatra is another mom currently in our care. Her and her babies are looking for an immediate rescue or foster (for the entire family, mom + 9 newborns).
