Houston, Texas – An emaciated, senior German shepherd is desperately in need of help in Houston, Texas. The nine-year-old dog, dubbed Aggie, was taken in at the BARC Animal Shelter on March 24 and a rescue group is needed to save his life.
On Wednesday morning, the Melrose Park Neglected Dogs Facebook page wrote:
BARC Animal Shelter here in Houston has put out the plea for Aggie the Shepherd found at Melrose yesterday on Aggie Lane. Please keep sharing for a rescue.
This emaciated dog’s history is unknown, but it is clear that he has been horribly neglected. According to shelter notes, not only is he starved, but he is “high” heartworm positive.
Aggie urgently needs help if he stands any chance of living out the rest of his life. He has suffered enough – please help him by sharing the information below with the hope that a rescue agency can take him in.

Ja, rädda Aggie och se till att han får all tänkbar vård, hjälp och omtanke.
Hoppas att han sedan kan komma till ett hem där han får mycket kärlek.
Sänder mirakler.
Vänligen,
Marie
