Giles County, Tennessee – Nearly 200 dogs have been rescued from conditions described as “heartbreaking.” According to Norfolk Adoption SPCA, the dogs all came from a single property in Giles County, Tennessee. The dogs who were living on the property showed clear signs of neglect, including matted fur, empty food bowls, frightened eyes, horrific dental disease, parasites, and lack of veterinary care.
The animal welfare said, “Thanks to the fast and compassionate response of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Animal Incident Management (AIM) team, along with Giles County Animal Shelter, Greater Birmingham Humane Society, over 130 dogs so far were pulled from the property and given emergency care, with more still to go.”
