ChatGPT can help coders, answer health questions, and give you a killer cheesy potato casserole recipe for Easter brunch (yes it was AMAZING). But have you seen the social media trend where ChatGPT can turn your cat or dog into a photo of a human?
I ran across a video on Instagram last week showing a cat named Gus and his Ai human version. I laughed too hard and was a bit creeped out by the 40-something, slightly pudgy, moody looking guy who was supposedly the human “Gus.”
But I wasn’t creeped out enough to skip giving it a try myself! In an effort to not be weirded out by the human version of our cats, I made sure that I gave some appropriate prompts. For our tuxedo cat, I told ChatGPT to create a human version of our “smart and sassy” cat. This is what I got and I have to say, it is pretty spot on!!
Next I gave a prompt for our little princess cat. I made the mistake of not specifying a photo and got a cartoon rendering the first time. But on the second attempt, after being told to create a photo of a human who embodied our “sweet but simple “Barbie” cat” this is what it created.
Again, props to Ai for capturing the human essence of our lovable little feline friend!
Not everyone likes Ai, and some people are certain that it will take over the world (maybe it will, maybe it won’t), but it can be sort of fun if you give it a try.
