Orange County, FL – A cat named Moogi lost his person, and his home, because his guardian moved and he was not included in her plans. The woman brought her 10-year-old cat to the Orange County Animal Services facility, telling staff that she had owned the cat since he was just a kitten.
Albert Harris Photography shared Moogi’s story:
Now Moogi is officially homeless. However, he is a cat you normally don’t see in a shelter environment. His fur is soft and squishy like his personality. He is confused and doesn’t know that he just lost the only home he had all of his life. When people look at him, they just see that he is a senior as he is 10 years old.
Happily, thanks to Harris’ beautiful photos and storytelling, Moogi was adopted. The pets who are cast aside rely on the Albert Harrises of the world – the people who take the time to share their story, take their photos, and go the extra mile to help them find a safe landing place.
Enjoy the remainder of your life Moogi, and thank you Albert Harris, for the good work you do.
