Mexico – The hairless cat recently rescued from a prison in Mexico has been adopted. The three-year-old Sphynx was tattooed with the words, “Hecho in Mexico,” by inmates at the Cereso 3 prison in Ciudad Juárez.
After being rescued, government officials set out to find him a new home. A special committee was tasked with sorting through the deluge of applications and choosing who the cat should spend the rest of his life with.
According to multiple sources, the cat has been adopted by someone in the United States, and that person’s identity is being kept under wraps.
