Merced County, CA – A woman was arrested and is facing dozens of charges after the authorities in Merced County found dozens of cats crammed inside of a U-haul parked at a Taco Bell in Santa Nella. Deputies with the Merced County Sheriff’s Office found 106 “extremely emaciated cats” and 28 deceased cats inside of the vehicle, which had no food or water inside.

According to a release from the sheriff’s office, the surviving cats were taken into the custody of the Merced County Animal Shelter, and they are receiving treatment from the Atwater Veterinary Center. The cats, ranging in age from 1 week to eight years, will be made available for adoption after they are medically cleared.
The woman who owned the cats, 69-year-old Jeannie Maxon of Long Beach, was arrested on 93 counts of animal cruelty and booked into the Merced County Jail. Maxon is said to be a breeder of Himalayan Persian cats, running the Magicattery accounts.
An online classified ad for Persian kittens shows her selling them in excess of $2000 each.

GET A REAL JOB YOU PIECE OF CRAP!!! DO SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTES TO SOCIETY!! Breeding needs to stop!!! humans breed EVERY SPECIES on this planet for EVERY POSSIBLE reason!!!

I’LL FEED HER FEET FIRST INTO MY WOOD CHIPPER !
What a horrible piece of garbage and she’s a breeder of course …she should never be allowed to own or be around a cat again. I hope they fry her ass. Keep her in jail stick it to her.!! More of these breeding operations need to be closed down! They never care about the animals. They only care about the money at the expense of the animals!!! She is despicable
