Tyler, Texas – Two men in Tyler, Texas, are facing charges for allegedly hanging a dog from a tree, causing the dog’s death. According to police, Billy Darnell Perry, 33, and Jay Heath Stansberry, 17, used a leash to hang the white dog in a tree near a property on County Road 314.
On April 14 Perry and Stansberry were arrested and charged with Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals (torture), which is a third-degree felony. As reported by KENS5 News, an investigator learned that Perry was the person who hung the dog with its leash. He had allegedly attempted to strangle the dog at first by placing the leash over his shoulder, but it did not work.
The affidavit said Stansberry admitted to holding the dog by its leg while Perry draped the leash over a tree limb; he told the investigator that they were getting rid of the dog because their landlord wanted to charge more rent because of the number of dogs at their home.
Both men were jailed and held on $100,000 bond.

NOT A BRAIN CELL BETWEEN THEM. The Only thing you could think of was torture it to death? ALL animals need to be removed from these scumbags. And Never allow them to even be in the vicinity of any animals or children. Disgusting whackkos.
