Seymour, Connecticut – Two people in Seymour are facing charges for severely neglecting two dogs. As reported by WFSB News, one puppy died from starvation and another emaciated dog showed signs of severe neglect. After an investigation, police arrested 22-year-old Erica Kyttle and 26-year-old Wilfredo Lebron.
Police were alerted to the situation because someone contacted Woodbridge Regional Animal Control to report their concerns about animal neglect at a residence in Seymour. Responding officers found an 11-month-old Cane Corso, covered in feces and severely underweight, and a Corgi in similar condition.

The neglected dogs were rushed to an emergency veterinarian for care, but the Cane Corse puppy could not be saved. The Corgi is recovering. A necropsy on the puppy confirmed starvation as the cause of death.
Kyttle and Lebron are each facing two charges: cruelty to animals and conspiracy to commit animal cruelty. Kyttle was released on bond and Lebron was held. There appears to be no court updates about these individuals, and this is unfortunately typical for Connecticut cruelty cases if nothing “dramatic” takes place.
