Erie, Pennsylvania – Two people have been arrested for abandoning a crated puppy beneath a bridge in Erie. The Erie Police have identified the suspects as 23-year-old Scott Bayle and 26-year-old Tori Jackna.
Tragically, the husky puppy, Aimee, who was left under the bridge passed away shortly after the individuals were arrested. The ANNA Shelter broke the heartbreaking news to Facebook followers on Friday morning, writing:
It’s as if she knew…she knew they were caught…they weren’t going to get away with the torture, pain, abuse and suffering they had caused her. She finally knew people loved her…finally felt soft pets and heard kind words…a warm soft bed and some peace. She also knew her body couldn’t recover…she had suffered too long and it was time for her to go to heaven where she would feel eternal peace and constant love… As I type through the tears, we share the dreaded news that Aimee passed this morning and crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Aimee died from cardiac arrest as she was being prepped for emergency surgery. Despite 40 minutes of CPR, the young dog could not be saved.

Poor, sweet, innocent Aimee! These heartless, no good, disgusting, self-centered idiots need maximum possible charges and sentences! They clearly lack compassion for other lives, have zero common decency, and are dangerous to society. Leniency only emboldens people like this to repeat and escalate. Sympathy must be only for victims, not perpetrators. I sure hope they get significant fines and prison time. And we need much stronger animal protection laws nationwide!
Everyone needs to comment their names and atrocities so every time someone (like an employer, potential landlord etc) searches their names, they’ll come up in search.

I’m so sad and crying for this senseless slow tortured death when there were so many other options. If they had foregone there habit for 1 day it could have saved that poor sweet baby.
