Erie, Pennsylvania – Two people have been arrested for abandoning a crated puppy beneath a bridge in Erie. The Erie Police have identified the suspects as 23-year-old Scott Bayle and 26-year-old Tori Jackna.
Tragically, the husky puppy, Aimee, who was left under the bridge passed away shortly after the individuals were arrested. The ANNA Shelter broke the heartbreaking news to Facebook followers on Friday morning, writing:
It’s as if she knew…she knew they were caught…they weren’t going to get away with the torture, pain, abuse and suffering they had caused her. She finally knew people loved her…finally felt soft pets and heard kind words…a warm soft bed and some peace. She also knew her body couldn’t recover…she had suffered too long and it was time for her to go to heaven where she would feel eternal peace and constant love… As I type through the tears, we share the dreaded news that Aimee passed this morning and crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Aimee died from cardiac arrest as she was being prepped for emergency surgery. Despite 40 minutes of CPR, the young dog could not be saved.

why send these POS to prison for the state to pay for the upkept and food and medical….. heeeellllll nnnooooooo…. bullet to the head only costs a few cents…. end it now…. so they wont do it again cause sure nuff ,they will be released , put on probation and still do it to others….

A new law is hopefully going to be passed. Aimies Law. Requires offenders to be on a list so that places like Anna Center and others will know not to allow them to adopt.
yea and then they’ll get a friend to adopt for them and it still goes on. That’s what happen to one dog who was waiting in the shelter for so long only to be adopted by the abuser’s friend and given to the abuser himself. That poor dog suffered physical abuse, beating, and then later taken to a park in dead of night just to be stabbed multiple times by that abusers while friend helped end that poor dog’s life!!!

Please put these two away for years. They are getting a lot more than they gave to this poor puppy!!! The totally breaks k heart. Someone would have adopted her for sure, but, these scumbags let her die!
The work to crate her and haul it under a bridge, when all they had to do was pick up their stinking phone! Heartless. Cruel. To leave a helpless animal to die slowly. The inhumanity…. Prosecute to the Full extent of the Law!
Take them both to the Arctic with NO supplies or coats, hats or gloves and let them loose. Good Luck surviving the cold and the polar bears!
Put those two in a crate, then dump them in the Artic! Make sure they are in separate crates, so they don’t have any body heat to share. I give them 48 hours, then human popsicles! An eye for an eye!
Sigh is hard to remain calm and not fill up with hate towards the monsters that do this to sweet innocent dogs. I always feel a lot of heartache when animals die at the hands of cruel evil. I am angry that the system doesn’t protect animals enough. Angry that the law doesn’t hold these type of vile people accountable for their disgusting actions. Angry that they always get a slap on the wrist and are allowed to be free again. Angry that they will probably continue to do this shit to another sweet innocent being. I wish they were never born so that that poor baby would have never suffered at their hands. I pray for the day animal cruelty is a worse offense than selling drugs. Because it is! Killing is a clear indicator of a dangerous human being. Period!
