North Texas – A young kitten is alive and well today thanks to a good Samaritan and staff at the Humane Society of North Texas. According to the animal welfare agency, six-week-old “Elmer” was brought to their facility by a good Samaritan who found him in a bucket of industrial adhesive.

The shelter explains how the medical staff worked to save little Elmer:
Covered from ear to tail, the thick substance left him unable to eat, drink, or properly care for himself, and he arrived severely dehydrated and in critical need of help.
Our medical team immediately got to work. For hours, staff carefully and continuously used canola oil and gentle hands-on care to slowly dissolve and remove the adhesive, working methodically to keep Elmer stable and as comfortable as possible.

It took a good deal of time and patience, but eventually this adorable kitten was free from the glue and feeling better!

The shelter said Elmer is doing well,
Today, Elmer is recovering safely in foster care, finally able to rest, gain strength, and experience comfort without pain. While he still has healing ahead due to the glue removal, he’s already showing his personality, sticking close to anyone offering warmth and affection.

A COMPLETE ‘ EVIL LOSER’ DID THIS…
SHOULD BE HUNG FOR IT OR TAR & FEATHERED AND LEFT TO HANG UPSIDE DOWN…FOR DOING THIS TO A POOR INNOCENT GOD GIVEN ANIMAL.
VERY VERY SICK!!!! TO SAY THE LEAST!!
WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND AND GOD MISSES ‘NOTHING’
The human who did this will hopefully be revisited by karma for this heinous act.
If someone did that purposely, may they die !!!!
i doubt it was accidental… alot of people on this planet are evil and sick…. they get off on causing pain and suffering and death…. well, we do not take kindly to any of that… this is why street justice is the only way to deal with monsters that roam this earth.. the courts dont serve up the justice needed, but we can…. happy this kitty was found and saved and taken in by good people… now to get rid of the trash that caused this poor kitty pain….
I agree with you 100%. Street justice is the only justice many abused animals will ever see.
AGREED.
Definitely not an accident. Somebody purposely did that. I hope they reap what they sow. They are despicable…so glad that precious little kitty was found by somebody with a good heart and kudos to the animal rescue that brought him back to health!! What is wrong with people?
SO thankful that precious little kitty was found by an an angel on earth!!!!
Deliberate? Or accidental? Someone could have left the cover off the pail of glue… and kittens are curious. The only thing that matters is he was found and rescued…. and is doing great in his foster home. If it was deliberate, than someone deserves all the hounds of hell to descent on them. If an accident, then thank whatever entities you believe in that he was found in time.
This is so disgusting!!!! Anyone this evil should be locked away for the rest of his life! Or dip him in a bucket of industrial waste!!! Unbelievable!!!
I agree 19999
