Los Angeles, CA – A beautiful three-year-old dog is at risk of losing his life after his owner surrendered him to a busy California animal control agency. The dog, named Bobby, has a broken femur…rather than getting Bobby the care he needed, his owner handed him over to the Los Angeles Animal Services – South Los Angeles Shelter on April 19.
And Bobby continues to wait for someone to find him worthy of saving. Despite the extraordinary pain of a broken leg, he has maintained a sweet demeanor…seeking out affection and love from the people who come to visit him.

Sweet sweet Boby was adopted out of the shelter, only to be dumped a year later with a broken femur. His owner decided instead of taking him to a vet to seek medical attention, dumping him at a high kill shelter was much easier. Sadly we live in a society that feels throwing something out is easier than trying to fix it.
Boby is MEDICALLY ALERTED for his fractured femur.
