Senior Dog, With Deformed Legs, Hoping For A Second Chance

Milton, FL – Two days ago, a senior dog was taken in as a stray in Milton, Florida. The dog, estimated to be 10 years of age, is at the Animal Services Santa Rosa agency and she was taken in on April 8.

Her name is unknown, and it is painfully clear that she has badly deformed front legs. How they came to be deformed is a mystery…for that matter, everything about this homeless dog is a mystery.

The Facebook group Rescue Me FL, NC, SC, GA, posted a photo of the homeless pooch, writing:

How could people be so cruel???? They dumped this sweet, 10-year-old female Pittie at a shelter🥺 She deserves a loving home and a soft, comfy bed, not a cold, hard kennel in a loud, chaotic place with barking dogs everywhere! Let’s help get this sweet senior out of here‼️

An update on Monday morning provided a few details…with an emphasis on few. According to the shelter, nothing is known about the dog’s past, or if she is good around other animals. The shelter staff did say that she will be seen by a veterinarian today, and she is on a stray hold until Wednesday.

You can help increase this dog’s odds of being adopted or rescued by networking her information. You can find the link to her adoption profile here.
