Linden, Pennsylvania – A reward is being offered after someone shot a cat in Linden, PA. According to Heidi’s Furry Friends Rescue, the cat was part of a colony cared for by an 82-year-old woman in Hidden Valley Trailer Court on Sandra Lee Drive.
On Wednesday, the rescue agency said:

The cat we rushed to Rosebird Veterinary this morning, believing he had been hit by a car, was NOT hit by a car.
Someone shot him.
Yes, you read that correctly. Someone shot this cat while he was simply existing and trying to survive.
Describing the friendly feline victim:
He was neutered, friendly enough to be touched, and although no one knows who originally owned him, she made sure he never went hungry. She looked after him and the other cats the best she could. And someone decided to shoot him.
The cat had a clear entrance and exit wound, and a veterinary examination indicates he was struck by some type of projectile, most likely a .22 caliber round. The cat’s injuries were too severe for him to recovery and humane euthanasia was the only option.
Now, his killer needs to be found. The rescue organization said:

If you live in or around Hidden Valley Trailer Court, particularly near Sandra Lee Drive, and have security cameras, doorbell cameras, or recorded footage, please reach out immediately.
