Rescuers Save Dog Whose Head Was Stuck In Tire Rim

Franklinville, NJ – On Thursday, a dog named Daisy was rescued after getting herself in a bit of a predicament. According to the Franklinville Volunteer Fire Company, Daisy got her head stuck in a tire rim and the use of soap and water failed to free her.

According to the firefighter’s social media account, Daisy was freed from the tire thanks to a special tool:

Special shout out to our Lt Brandon Volpe who, with the help of the first responders on scene, used his personal plasma cutter to free Daisy from the rim.

Fortunately, Daisy was freed without injury, and she is said to be “doing well!”

The agency said:
