San Juan County, Utah – On Tuesday evening, a semi-truck flipped on its side on SR 191 near Lisbon Valley Road while hauling 31 horses. According to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, local ranchers helped the department’s livestock team rescue the trapped horses from the flipped trailer.
The rescued horses were taken to the fairgrounds and held until further arrangements for the horses could be made.
Tragically, four horses died in the crash. The sheriff’s office said:
“Unfortunately, 4 of the horses passed away from the crash but because of efforts and help from Guy Tracy, Charlie Tracy, Nathan Freestone, David Robinson, Steven Robinson, Brian Robinson, and Loren Holyoak the rest were saved. This was a big operation for our county and without the help of our residents we wouldn’t have been able to pull it off.”

Fucking slaughterhouse truck imagine the terror and distress caused to these poor creatures the human race stinks ! They’d be beaten into submission losing their lives to fill the fat gut of humans. LIVE AND LET LIVE THEY WANT TO LIVE 1
Yss, it sounds like they were being taken to slaughter. Congress needs to get off its useless ass and pass the law banning this already.
Looks like slaughter-bound trailer. Disgusting human race. Poor dear horses. I hope the survivors are rescued instead of their brutally slaughtered dead bodies being stuffed into cretins’ mouths. RIP in Heaven, the four who died.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
The horses never should have been in transport to start with. The treatment of animals in this country is a disgrace.
Why were 31 horse in a truck!? In the UK, if you are transporting horses it’s one or two in a proper horse box designed for horses and all their needs. Why is America so backward when it comes to animal welfare?
Why were these horses packed into a semi-truck? Were they on their way to a Mexican or Canadian slaughterhouse?
