Puppy Desperately Chases Car After Being Dumped In Fresno

Fresno, CA – Surveillance video captured the heartbreaking moment a car stopped and abandoned a black German shepherd puppy outside a mobile home park in Fresno. The moments that follow are even more devastating…the puppy races after the car as it drives away.

Fortunately, there is a happy resolution to this otherwise dismal tale. Management at the Country Living Mobile Home Park was able to capture the puppy and she was turned over to the Fresno Animal Center for care.

According to the shelter, the pup is friendly and available for adoption. Find the adoption page for the shelter at this link.

As reported by KGPE News, knowingly abandoning an animal is a crime punishable by a fine and up to six months in jail.

  1. The face of true innocence right there, deserving of only the best of people to look after her. The lowlife who abandoned her should never again be within 10 feet of any animal anywhere.

It’s hard to find her at the link provided, unless she’s #A005846 and was brought in on April 17th, so anyone interested would have to scroll way down in the adoptables to find her.

  2. what a beautiful pup. unfortunately she was owned by a worthless scumbag. this is probably the best thing that could happen to that dog. get away from these lowlifes and find a loving home. shouldn’t be hard to find this scrub since the photos are pretty clear.

  3. They should find this guy and abandon him or her on a boat with oars and water only in the middle of the ocean!!

  4. This was probably the best thing that could have happened to this sweet pup, to get away from the dirty scumbag owner and be given a chance at a better life with someone who cares ❤️

  5. Two things go wrong in this situation – the second car doesn’t even stop to see about the puppy 💔. They probably didn’t have the decency to report the plate to management. Happy that this turned out for the best.

  6. Okay, I’ll bet this was the person that owned the dog that let him out!! BUT don’t you think advertising the find would be better for the dog to end up with his owners than to be adopted right away?? I mean, this dog could have been stolen, or if he was lost, someone could have picked him up and took him off, just to be mean!! I think that ALL shelters unless they know that the dog has no owner, that a situation like this one should be advertised for the owner!! AND if this is done, don’t you thin that writing it down would accomplish what I just said?????????
