Pasadena, California – A dog, abandoned at a trailhead in a California national forest, was saved from a slow, miserable death, but he is still waiting for someone to adopt him from Pasadena Humane. The three-year-old German shepherd, dubbed Gouda, was abandoned in the Angeles National Forest with two other dogs. Whoever tied them up failed to leave any food or water.
One of the three dogs found a home, but Gouda, and another shepherd named Bug, are still waiting for their happily-ever-after. On September 6, Pasadena Humane wrote:
Since then, one of the pups (Cricket) has been adopted, but Gouda and his sister, Bug, are still waiting. Gouda wants nothing more than to be by his favorite person’s side, getting lots of affection and belly rubs. He’ll happily be your shadow and follow you everywhere—he’s such a sweet boy.
Bug, also listed at three years of age, is still waiting for her forever home as well.
These gorgeous dogs did not ask to be abandoned, and they certainly deserve better. Please help their future be as wonderful as it can be. Share their adoption information and help them find safe, loving homes (dogs do not need to be adopted together).
