Springfield, Missouri – A Springfield man is facing a second-degree arson charge after setting a shed on fire and killing 10 cats who were inside. As reported by KY3 News, Aiden Kinnee allegedly set fire to a detached shed on March 19.
The Springfield Fire Department responded to the fire around 11:30 a.m. on March 19 – despite their efforts, the structure was a total loss. The cats who were trapped inside all perished. As reported by the news agency, the cats suffered horribly in the blaze:
Nine of the ten cats were removed from the shed, and each exhibited varying degrees of fire-related injuries. The tenth cat could not be separated from its crate, as the plastic crate had deformed from heat exposure and solidified onto the cat.
Kinnee’s girlfriend lived in the shed with her cats but was not there when it was set on fire. Text messages from Kinnee to the woman said, “Prison sounds better than this. (Explicit) it. I’d hurry back if I were you. Already started,” and later, “They didn’t deserve that. But I did what I did.”
Police arrested Kinnee on April 9; he was booked into the Greene County Jail without bond.

This evil POS needs to die the same way. If he were my boyfriend, he wouldn’t show up for court date, because he would be dead.
