South Bend, Indiana – A 23-year-old Indiana man has been arrested and charged for killing multiple kittens. As reported by WVPE News, Tyler Coday was arrested at his apartment by officers conducting a welfare check.
Coday allegedly answered the door of his Irish Hills apartment and told officers that he had been doing things he “was not proud of,” and said, “some cats were hurt.”

When asked where the cats were, Coday told officers they were dead, and in a trash can. Officers found two deceased kittens in the kitchen trash container.
Three other living cats were still in the house, prompting officers to call Coday’s roommate, who was working out of state. The roommate told the authorities that Coday had killed two other cats for being playful.
Coday is charged with four Level 6 felony counts of torturing or mutilating a vertebrate animal. He was booked, without bond, into the St. Joseph County Jail. The surviving cats were taken in by the South Bend Animal Resource Center.

DMP- This is about a deranged fucker that enjoys torturing and killing his roommate’s cats while his roommate is away working not about covid and/or school shootings! Please advocate for punishment for animal abuse and for stronger law enforcement.
And especially for mental health counseling for animal abusers that admit that they are aware that they are doing something wrong as most do not acknowledge that they are doing something wrong or bad.
This individual needs to be locked up for a long time. There is never an excuse for animal cruelty; especially those that can’t even defend themselves. The roommate also deserves punishment for not reporting the abuse and killings of those innocent, defenseless kittens.

I hope it is made known to other inmates what he did to these helpless kittens and some animal lovers give him REAL justice not the slap on the wrist he will probably get from our weak kneed justice system when it comes to animal cruelty.. The room mate is just as culpable as this shitbag because he/she knew this guy had done this before so why leave these little innocents with this prick knowing he could not be trusted around these animals. Put him in jail let the inmates know he’s in there for mutilating kittens. Hopefully the inmates hate animal cruelty as much as they hate pedophiles.. This is ridiculous and the roommate needs to face charges as well. He knew what was going on and he did nothing to stop it.
