Jamestown, New York – A Jamestown man is facing an animal cruelty charge for allegedly abusing his roommate’s puppy. According to the Jamestown Police Department, 26-year-old Daysean Braswell-Adams is accused of wrapping a phone cord around his roommate’s pit bull puppy’s paws, causing the puppy to “yelp and cry” in distress.
As reported by WGRZ News, the police were called to a house on the city’s south side by a woman who said she found her puppy leaving Braswell-Adams’ room; the puppy’s front paws were secured with a cord and the puppy was crying.
Police took Braswell-Adams into custody. He has since been released and he will have to appear in court on an appearance ticket at a later date.
