Man Arrested And Charged After Threatening To Throw Dog From Parking Garage

Sunrise, FL – Last week, a man threatened to throw a small dog from a parking garage at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. According to sources, 26-year-old Nicholas Michael-Jamaal Depass was on the third floor of the casino’s parking garage when the Seminole police encountered him.

The man was holding the dog by its neck and paws, and surveillance video showed him “manhandling” the dog before the authorities arrived. Depass was ordered to leave the premises, but he made his way to the fourth floor and hurled the dog into bushes.

An officer attempted to apprehend Depass but the man resisted and tried to grab the officer’s taser. More officers arrived to aid in the arrest; after Depass was restrained, officers found a stolen gun, drug paraphernalia, and a scale in his backpack.

Depass was booked into the Broward Main Jail on charges of felony animal cruelty, grand theft of a firearm, and resisting arrest with violence. As reported by WFLA, the condition of the dog was not included in the police report.

  1. Even with all those serious charges and his being a dangerous monster, he’ll likely be slapped on his wrists and set loose, with Soros-funded DA’s raping justice these days. And why no word on the condition of the poor dog…didn’t the cops at least find him/her and get help? 😡
