Rancho Cordova, CA – A resident in Rancho Cordova is outraged after seeing Ring video footage showing his neighborhood mail carrier using pepper spray on his senior cat, Xena. The shocking footage shows the postal carrier yelling at the 15-year-old cat and then spraying her.
As reported by CBS News, the postal worker initially denied any wrongdoing, but his actions are clear on the video footage. The incident has prompted a response from the U.S. Postal Service who offered a statement:
“The United States Postal Service holds its employees to high standards of conduct and any actions that conflict with these values are taken seriously.”
Thankfully, Xena is okay after the concerning incident.

high standards, yeah right!🙄 theres a reason theres the saying “going postal” this asshole is a sociopathic sadistic animal hater and has no place in public service. as for the other piece of guman garbage that caused the little dogs death, thats destruction of property as well as animal abuse. she needs jail time and has to pay compensation to the owner for all loses as well as the distress of her dog dying; thousands of dollars. id squeeze financially till her eyes pop out
I’m a retired person who was a letter carrier. I had 2 mean dogs on my mail route that would attack my vehicle when I came in their driveway. One would chew on my tires, the other tried to climb into my vehicle trying to bite me. I drove down the road smacking the 2nd dog with a newspaper, trying to get it out. He was halfway in. I had pepper spray but never used it on any animal. I left notes for the owners saying the time I was always at their mailboxes and please keep their (big German shepherd) dogs inside or chained far away from their mailboxes at those times. I finally made friends with the dogs by treating them to vanilla cookies when I arrived. After a few times of treats, the dogs became my best friends waiting for 2 cookies, LOL ;~D
Hi standards, my butt! He went after that cat who clearly wasn’t a threat to him. Kitty tried to walk up to him because he’s used to being treated nice by some of the postal workers. This guy is garbage. He’s a disgrace he needs to be fired and made an example of. I can understand a dog charging at you, but this cat did nothing but try to walk up to him. FIRE HIS ASS AND PUT HIS PICTURE UP IN THE POST OFFICE !!

Management instills fear of pets into their carriers. They call it safety issue. I call it a mindset that leads to animal abuse. They have stickers they put in mailboxes around here alerting carriers to pets on the premises. They don’t even have to exit their vehicle even if your pets are indoors. Carriers like the time they save, and those in charge don’t seem to care how many people are complaining about it.

USPS has some pretty low standards these days not just in their service, but the people who are hired. This loser needs to be subjected to having his face sprayed a few times to know how it feels.
So if the US postal service holds their employees so fucking high then why the hell is this piece of shit still employed? It didn’t say anything about him getting fired or terminated from his job! As far as I’m concerned put a bullet to the fucker’s head and end him! I’m glad this man’s precious baby is okay perhaps next time also he will keep the baby inside permanently where is a lot safer from assholes like this!
