Downey, CA – In early January, a handsome German shepherd was seized during a cruelty investigation. The three-year-old dog, Cisco, has been released for adoption as the cruelty investigation continues.
Cisco is at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Downey facility. According to people who have met him, he is friendly and available for public adoption.
Who knows what trauma Cisco may have experienced in the past. But somehow, he is still friendly and most certainly, he deserves to live in a loving home, with someone who will treat him with kindness.
Please help Cisco find a loving new home by sharing his adoption information. Networking saves lives! Cisco is at a busy animal control facility where he is at the mercy of space constraints. Too many highly adoptable dogs are put to sleep for no reason other than there is no room to keep them at the shelter, and not enough adopters.

He’s a beautiful dog, not that beauty matters, but even dogs like him have hard times getting good homes. The masses are more “in to” buying purebred puppies from breeders, brand new, shiny, pricey…status symbols. While great dogs like Cisco sit in kill prisons like the Downey “shelter.” Dog breeders are absolute scum.
Downey is not a “shelter” it is a death trap. Please someone save this deserving puppy.
