Google Worker Who Kicked Tiny Rescue Dog Hit With Charges

New York, NY – A Google worker who kicked a tiny, 5-lb rescue dog is facing charges. According to the New York Post, 34-year-old Eric Morrison is due in court on March 12 for the February 10 incident.

The little dog’s owner, Jen Floyd, says that Morrison was distracted by his phone and almost stepped on her dog, Knox. She tells the Post:

“He was not looking at all where he was going, So he was about to step on my dog by accident, so I said, ‘Hey, watch out for my dog – you’re about to step on him.’”

He proceeded to kick Knox, causing the little dog to react in fear and pain. Floyd said, “He was crying and screaming. I don’t even know how to replicate it. It was very traumatic.”

Morrison claims that Floyd was the instigator, and that she attacked him, but surveillance footage does not support his allegation. The incident made its way to social media, with people calling for Morrison to be fired from his job.

Morrison has retained a lawyer, and he maintains his innocence.

  1. What a scumbag. I hope Knox is okay, he sounds like a wonderful little dog. And “cancel culture” (re: Faith Saenz statement) has nothing to do with this case.

  3. In my opinion Eric Morrison, Google UX Manager needs to – MUST be fired! Google as an organization must not be associated with ego driven, superior minded animal abusers! What an idiot, I wish I was there to witness this, I would have ensured this tiny helpless dog was safe & given idiot Eric a mouthful. “Come on coward, try & kick me!”

  6. If that had been my dog,I would have kicked Eric’s sorry ass. He would have received justice for his actions. We need to start a Fire Eric page on Facebook and asked why Google has not fired him.

  7. This abusive man-boy is in need of psychiatric evaluation and treatment. Given his abusive towards animals, he would likely abuse children too.
    Sounds narcissistic because he doesn’t take responsibility for his actions. Sounds like a mama’s boy with some emotional issues.
    It would difficult to have him as a co-worker;
    With his violent behaviors and not taking responsibility for them. Lies about it. As would a young child.
