Hialeah, FL – A good Samaritan helped save the life of a missing dog who wound up trapped between the walls of a warehouse in Hialeah. The five-year-old dog, Yanko, is believed to have been trapped between the walls for three days, reports WEAU News.
Thankfully someone who lives near the warehouse heard Yanko’s cries and the Hialeah Fire Department responded to help. The department posted to social media, writing:
#HFD fire personnel from #Ashift responded to an animal rescue incident involving a dog 🐶 . Yanko🐕🐾, who had been missing for a couple of days, was successfully rescued by fire crews.
Rescuers worked for more than two hours to free Yanko from the walls.
And finally, the adventuresome dog was free. Aside from some cuts and abrasions, Yanko is okay, albeit a bit weak from a lack of food and water. The warehouse workers who love him are grateful his barks for help were heard.
Mechanic Jorge Feliz tells the news agency:
“I think if the guy next door never heard him, we would have lost that dog. Thank God, we didn’t lose him, and we still have him here with us.”

great job guys, finally a happy ending within the sea of bad ones.
How did the dog get in there? Thank God that man heard the dog barking and was able to have it rescued. However it got in, I hope the Fireman blocked it off so that does not happen again to another animal or child.
Thank God this poor dog was rescued in time!
