Manhattan, New York – A 14-year-old cat named Jeffrey finds himself homeless in the twilight of his life. According to reports, he was “downsized” right out of the only home he had ever known. Those who have met this handsome tuxedo cat refer to him as a sweet boy, with a gentle demeanor.
Jeffrey has been at the New York Anima Care Manhattan facility for nearly a month. When he was first taken in, he was understandably frightened and withdrawn. But he has made progress in the weeks that have passed and his true personality is peeking through. A volunteer shared the following information:

Jeffrey had a home. He had a person that he loved. Now he is alone and at the mercy of the New York shelter system. Few people walk into shelters looking for senior pets, but Jeffrey deserves to be loved for the remainder of his life. He deserves to live in a home, not in a cage.
Please share his adoption information and help him find a family of his own.

humans are DEVILS
Don’t adopt in the first place if you can’t commit to providing a loving home for the entirety of an animal’s life. We can only hope the creep who made the decision experiences the same outcome someday.
We can only hope that whoever left this innocent soul at the shelter because of “downsizing” meets the same fate wherever they live. This is absolutely disgusting!!! Society is so doomed.
These people that dump their animals when they’re senior are despicable! They will reap what they sow. I hope they remember that when they’re old and nobody wants them anymore . Senior cats are perfect for us that are older ourselves because they have a few more years to give. They really need someone to step up and take them…
What does that mean downsizing? You don’t downsize your kids!!! This sweetheart needs a loving forever home. Cars matter! They are family for life!!!
