Fire And Rescue Saves Horse That Fell And Got Stuck In Trailer

St. Johns County, FL – A horse who fell and was hopelessly stuck in a trailer door was assisted by a St. Johns Fire Rescue crew. According to the agency, the horse’s owner was at a rest stop along Interstate 95.

The owner reached out for help after realizing that the horse could not get out.

It is unclear how the firefighters managed to get the horse safely out of the trailer, but they did. In a Facebook post, the agency said:

Firefighters assisted with removing the horse from the trailer, and at approximately 5:17 pm, the horse was safely reloaded into the trailer and will be evaluated for any injuries.

No word yet on the status of the horse and if there were any injuries reported.
