Fort Worth, TX – A family’s pet was taken to a Fort Worth animal shelter with a request for him to be put down because they were moving and didn’t want him anymore.
Now the two-year-old dog is left to wonder where his family went, and why he no longer has a home. Fortunately, he was not euthanized as requested by his disloyal owners, but he is still in need of help.

Euthanize the family. How disgusting and shameful! Hope the family feels guilt the rest of their lives but they probably won’t. Praying the poor baby finds a great and loving home.

I like the comment regarding laws that track people that dump animals at shelters – keep a national registry of these trash animal owners – prohibiting them from being animal owners for life – I would also fine people when they dump animals at shelters and place the money in the animals care and vetting account at the shelter. The shelters need government support from the tax dollars we pay each year so they can transform into “no-kill” shelters – allowing the shelters more time to get the animals vetted – cared for – and fostered/adopted into a new safe caring home where they are protected and loved.
So like “folks in Texas”… heartbreaking. Thank you for doing everything possible to help this boy find a good and caring home.
What the hell is wrong with these POS people that are in our society??? These people need to be abandoned out in the desert. They are nothing but garbage. I can only hope that karma hits them right between the eyes. the sooner the better. I HATE people that do this. I could kill a human before an animal. Animals are to be taken care of. Not disposed of on a whim. Humans are a freaking disgrace who think they have no responsibility for anything.
TO ALL THE PEOPLE that answered THIS AD, this is the time to take it to your Congress!! They will be voting on this soon, next week I think!! I have already written to mine twice, and I would like for them to take the kill process away from the pound!! The pound should go on finding pets, but to kill them is OUT!! They should keep them about 2 weeks, let the owner come and see if they have them, or someone can adopt them after 2 wks, but they must get references, or send them to a SHELTER, which does not kill dogs!! If the dog needs help in any way, take him/her to the VET and allow the VET to make the decision as to whether the dog should be put down, and this VET has to put it down on paper why they took him/her in, and why they put him/her down!!! AND these animals can only go to GOOD VETS authorized by the county board!!! AND all dogs coming in should have a microchip and be registered, before they leave the pound!! I think that all this takes up the money spent out on electricity or gas or medicine for a shot!! This is just a start for the dogs, but we have to start somewhere and Congress needs to their hinies off the table and do this for the dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
