Cameron Parish, Louisiana – A large reward is being offered for information in a disturbing case of animal cruelty in Louisiana. In a news release, NOAA stated that a juvenile dolphin with multiple gunshot wounds was discovered on March 13 on West Mae’s Beach in Cameron Parish.
In the release, the agency stated:
The necropsy (animal autopsy) revealed multiple bullets lodged in the carcass, including in the brain, spinal cord, and heart of the dolphin. The animal appeared to have died from the trauma, which occurred at or near the time of death.
A reward of up to $20,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible. The agency outlines the information that is being sought:
We are looking for information leading to one or all of the following:
Successful identification and/or
Successful prosecution for the person(s) responsible
Arrest, conviction, or civil penalty assessment

Agree. probably some nut job who got mad because the dolphin ate a fish he thought was his to catch. People are so nuts these days. Almost makes you want to go back to the days of an eye for an eye…for harming any living thing. Maybe if people had to suffer what they dish out they would have a come to Jesus moment.
Another reprehensible case of someone taking pleasure out of killing an animal for exactly that… pleasure. It never fails to sicken and depress me to know that there are a lot of sick people out there among us whose ultimate high is to inflict pain and suffering on innocent animals and in this case snuff out a life. If there is a God I hope he wreaks vengeance on these assholes more than we could ever do.
