Dog Who Lost His Ear After Being Attacked While Living On A Chain, Tore Ear Off Of His Stuffy, Now They Match

Raleigh, NC – A shelter dog named Bruno was photographed on Friday, Feb. 3, with his stuffy, who has a missing ear just like him. According to the SPCA of Wake County, a staff member had to take a photo because Bruno had torn off the same ear that he himself is missing.

The animal welfare agency explains:

Y’all 😭😭😭 Bruno tore one of the ears off his favorite stuffed toy — the same ear he’s missing himself. The staff member who found this couldn’t believe it, so she took these photos to show the rest of our team.

Sharing how Bruno lost his own ear prior to his arrival at the shelter:

Bruno used to live chained up outside, and his ear was torn off when another dog attacked him and he couldn’t run away.

Bruno is just perfect the way he is. The shelter said:

But Bruno knows there’s nothing wrong with him, and now he has a best friend just like him to prove it.
