Los Angeles, CA – On August 25, a German shepherd mix named Storm broke out of her home and headed to the SoFi Stadium where the heavy-metal band, Metallica, was holding a concert. Storm found a seat for herself and proceeded to enjoy the concert with the other 70,000 fans in the stadium.
A photo of Storm made its way to a California rescue organization and there was speculation that she had been abandoned at the concert. But those allegations were false. Storm was apparently just there to enjoy herself!
The band Tweeted about their canine fan a few days later, hoping to set the record straight.
According to Metallica, Storm was safely reunited with her family the next day. The band Tweeted:
She had a great time listening to her favorite songs, including “Barx Æterna,” “Master of Puppies,” and “The Mailman That Never Comes.”
Metallica doesn’t advise people to bring their dogs to concerts, but acknowledged that Storm seemed to enjoy her rockin’ night out.
And in case you were wondering, no. You definitely shouldn’t bring your furry friends to the #M72 World Tour. But this dog sure did have her day…
