Phoenix, AZ – For over 650 days, a dog named Taki has been patiently waiting for someone to choose him to be their companion. This sweet, goofy boy has been at the Arizona Animal Welfare League since May 2022…sitting by the front of his kennel run, hoping that someone will stop and take him home.
The shelter writes:
While he wakes up every day to the same routine and rare meet and greets with potential adopters, he has not lost hope that his family is out there somewhere.
Adding:
He has won over the hearts of many, rightfully so. He’s described as loving, loyal, one-of-a-kind, goofy, and attentive by those closest to him ❤️
Taki knows the best way for him to thrive in his home is as an only pet. He is confident that his enormously doting and big-hearted self will be more than enough for his future family. He simply wants to be your little shadow all around the home, if only he were given the chance.

PLEASE : Make Sure That This Cutey Pie Goes To A Nice, Responsible, Loving Home. There are so many Nutcases out there that would gladly take him and hurt him. I have seen what is going on the USA. You give Dogs Away and they are Abused and/or Killed. Thank You
THIS BABY NEEDS A HOME. HOW IS HE WITH OTHER DOGS OR A CAT?

It is imperative that legislation is created that exacts much harsher penalties on animal abusers. The US should not have such horror stories such as those reported here.

I reside in Canada and would take him in a heartbeat, but with an elderly girl requiring Chemotherapy and Radiation and the other 80-lb girl, it would be a handful. As much as I am willing to help, perhaps a donation would help. How old and what breed is this handsome guy?
