A cat “nailed it” in the best possible way after leaping from the fifth-story window of a burning building in Chicago, Illinois. The heart-stopping incident took place on Thursday at a building in the city’s Englewood neighborhood.
The Chicago Fire Department posted video of the cat’s courageous leap to the Chicago Media Twitter account:
The black cat “bounced” after hitting the ground, then walked away, apparently unscathed by his death-defying jump. There were no injuries reported in the fire.
